As a Christian Homemaker I love to display scripture throughout our home to help me stay grounded with following the ways of Christ and not my flesh so when I found these scripture cards on https://rootedandgrounded.com you could just imagine my excitement.
As Homemakers we are faced with many task in our days from making sure our husbands and children are well cared for, our home is stayed in tack and that we take out time to fill our cups as well so that we can stay well for our families.
Honestly sometimes the task of all of those things can feel overwhelming and from our fleshly perspective will make us very tired and want to give up, but with our spiritual perspective of displaying scripture throughout our home to meditate on throughout the day while we complete our homemaking task such as Psalm 28:7 “The Lord is my strength and shield; my heart trust in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.” and Colossians 3:23-24 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
Having scriptures displayed such as those can bring us strength and help us build up our spirit man along with praying daily to complete all of the task that come our way in our homemaking journey with joy and not complaint.
I pray me sharing these scriptures cards with you that I am going to display in our kitchen monthly would inspire you to do the same with displaying scripture in your homes as well in whatever rooms you see fit to help you feel strengthened in the Lord with this blessed journey of homemaking.
Know that homemaking is not only a task but it is a calling and a ministry within our homes so we should press to steward it well and with a positive mindset and with Christ we can do just that.
Homemakers may you forever be blessed in all that you do, keep Christ at the center of your hearts, and joy within your eyes as you watch the blessings of the Lord within your family now and for all the years to come.
Blessings,
Dee
