One thing I am very passionate about is making food from scratch for my family and I want to share that passion with you. Enjoy.

Things Needed:

5lbs Bag Potatoes ( I used Idaho Russet)

Butter (measure with love)\

Can of Carnation Evaporated Milk (measure with love)

Potato Masher

Potato Peeler

Whisk

Directions:

  1. Put cold water in a big pot
  2. Wash potatoes
  3. Begin peeling potatoes once skin is off cut potato in half and immediately put it in the cold water so the potatoes don’t turn black while peeling and cutting the rest of them.
  4. Drain the cold water off when all the potatoes are peeled and cut rinse potatoes with cold water. Clean pot put fresh water in pot and put potatoes back in fresh water.
  5. Put your fire on high to bring potatoes to a boil make sure they are fork or knife tender before turning your stove off.
  6. While potatoes are hot mash them with your potato masher add your butter and milk a little at a time and whisk the potatoes butter and milk together until consistency is smooth.
  7. Once consistency is smooth transfer your potatoes to a storage bowl of your choice and enjoy.

Happy Cooking,
